Wonder Woman is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character was created by William Moulton Marston and artist Harry G. Peter and first appeared in All Star Comics #8 (December 1941). Wonder Woman is the secret identity of Diana Prince, an Amazon princess who possesses superhuman strength, speed, agility, and durability, as well as a variety of other powers, including the ability to fly and project energy blasts from her hands.
